This is part web page and part blog.

If you scroll down you will see some of the stuff I do for my clients. When I finished the site for The HourGlass Restaurant I got an email from Cindy Hull, the owner and I will post this here as a testimonial.
Cindy said:

I can't thank you enough.  You nailed it.  You were able to capture and
create a voice that speaks a first impression that I feel proud to have
heard.  I am so grateful for your patience and perseverance in this venture,
and would genuinely and sincerely be the first to recommend you to my
dearest friends.  Your work is outstanding, and your photography is amazing.
I could not  have asked for more.  What a gift.

The story behind the site design.

Alfred Boyd Web Development, site design with "click appeal"...

Original photography in your site will improve your ability to deliver your message to potential customers. The Internet is a strongly visual media; having a site driven by photography is one way of keeping viewer interest. Often stock photographs appear generic and sterile and at times do not fit your message.

Alfred Boyd has been delivering creative images for advertising for over twenty years. By having Alfred Boyd develop your site, you will have the combined effect of originality, strong images and creative design.

Below are samples of a web campaign designed by Alfred Boyd for Oraclepoll Research, a major player in the field of public opinion polling and market research with offices in Sudbury Toronto And Montreal.
The project required a series of strong photo-driven banner headings with thought provoking captions, what is known in the advertising industry as "story appeal": a technique by which interesting photos and captions are used to make the viewer ask: "what is the story behind this?" This curiosity prompts the viewer to look further into and stay longer on the site.
Most polling sites tend to be pretty dry to look at. We feel that the various banners below, give Oracalpoll a new website with "click appeal" and as you can see a little tongue in cheek humour always helps.
